Hi, I’m Caroline.

Yes, that is really me. And it is how I feel on the inside. By way of universal accident, this also became me:

Yeah, a “beauty queen”. I’m as shocked as you are.

But that’s all part of my past now. I’m really just a twenty-something, single, young professional who left my hometown at 18 in search of whatever the American Dream is these days. I’m easily distracted by shiny things, and I love to put on a show.

It has been a wild ride so far, including winning the Miss Oregon Pageant and  competing at Miss America, getting inside Portland’s fashion scene, and even having an article published on Cosmopolitan.com.  I fell in love with the outdoors, I kissed some frogs (and some princes), and I let the travel bug bite me. I’ve lived in the Midwest, Pacific Northwest, and now the South. Real talk: I’ve had at least three hair reinventions. Proof:

This blog is the true, living diary of a girl who wants to live in bold colors and laugh through the crazy. This is not a glossy, polished blog yet, and I’ll never promise perfection, but I’ll be candid. And I’ll try to make it better every time. And there will be GIFs.
